Si seguimos el razonamiento del propio Hanks ni el cine ni el teatro podrían existir. La interpretación (a no ser que uno se interpretara a sí mismo… a ver quién es el guapo que paga por ver títulos como “Un día en la vida de Tom”, “Leonardo saca al perro a pasear” o “De pesca con Brad, I yII” ) no tendría razón de ser. Aunque reconozco que, al menos en el caso del cine español, tampoco lo echaría de menos.
Tampoco es Tom Hanks, Astronauta (Apollo 13), Vaquero de juguete (Toy Story), Maquinista (Expreso Polar), Empleado de una empresa postal (Náufrago), fabricante de relojes y títeres (Pinocho), Ruso (La terminal), profesor universitario (El código Da Vinci, Ángeles y Demonios, Inferno), etc.
Si seguimos la línea de pensamiento de Tom Hanks nos quedamos sin actores y sin películas porque si el actor TIENE que compartir las características con el personaje estamos jodidos.
Si bien no es santo de mi devoción y es un actor de menor calibre, a Jared leto le hicieron escándalo también al momento de interpretar a Rayon, mujer transexual en etapa intermedia del Sida en Dallas Buyers Club. Ya no saben de qué quejarse.
